Previously, Dr. Cynthia has shared the things she likes in Muslim culture. Today, she shares 4 things that she does not like about Muslim culture:
- Emphasis on CONFORMITY – this includes dressing, behaviors, and ways of worship and praying. In the Bible it says that people look at the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. (Quran 3:85, Quran 5:101; I Samuel 16:7)
- DOUBLE STANDARDS for Muslims vs. Christians, men vs women, and Prophet Mohammed vs other Muslims. (Quran 5:55; Quran 2:282; Quran 4:11; Quran 33:50-53&57; Quran 98:6)
- Treatment of WOMEN – Requirement to cover like in 7th century, can’t leave house without permission or have others in, beating, 1 of 4 wives, child custody, etc. (Quran 24:31, 33:33,34; 4:3&34)
- VIOLENCE – for apostacy, for immorality, to spread Islam (Quran 8:12,17; Quran 4:89; Quran 2:216; Quran 5:54)
